Co-op staff can help you explore options to get into a first home, including Welcome Home Loans. Welcome Home Loans are designed for borrowers who have a minimum of 10% deposit. The product is supported by Housing New Zealand in the form of Mortgage Insurance. Welcome Home Loans are only available for applicants purchasing a property for owner occupation. While primarily for first home buyers, this product is available to second-chance home buyers in some circumstances.

Fresh Start loans can help people who have/have had previous credit problems, that are considered to be outside the Home Loan criteria of mainstream lenders and are of an understandable nature or unlikely to be repeated. Credit problems may cover adverse items on a credit report, loan arrears, discharged bankrupt, or an outstanding Property Law Notice.
